Jo Cotterell

My name is Jo, and I bake. Well, I say I bake but I’m still learning. I’m somewhat of a calamity in the kitchen and only rarely does my attempt appear a success but hey, I enjoy it, and enjoy making everyone laugh at me in the process. I have a slight dependence on cake and get the shakes if I’m not fed at least a slice a day.
My motto: Cake makes everything better.
Hannah Harman
I’m Hannah, a twenty-something food writer and budding chocolatier. I’m notorious for my alternative breakfasts which include, but are in no way limited to popcorn, sushi, miso soup and cold pizza. You can find me blogging about events, chocolate experiments and my food experiences.
My motto: I’ll try anything once however, this constantly leads me down unusual and experimental paths.
Sanjana Modha
I’m Sanjana and I live to cook for my family and friends. Learning since I was barely able to reach the cooker, I document my kitchen creations here, and on my Indo-vegetarian food blog, K.O Rasoi. My obsessive use of spices usually leads me to dreaming up exciting flavour combinations and becoming somewhat of a scientist in the kitchen. When I’m not cooking, I’m indulging in my underlying food photography and cheese addictions.
My motto: Play with your food.
Holly Graham
I’m Holly, and I cook. At five, I started to write out menus for my parents, and with the help of my older sister, I would pretend to be their waitress at every meal. They were only allowed to order one thing, but we wanted to write it down and bring it to them. After working out that the kitchen was much more exciting than the dining room, I have been forcing food upon friends and family ever since. I love to cook anything and everything, but have a particular fondness for slow-cooked pork shoulder. One day, I will make macarons.
My motto: What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
Italian Recipe Calendar
Hi
Can someone tell me if there is a facility on the web site to look up recipes from say the previous few days TV episodes
Apparently every month is Italian food month in the UK because our favourite dishes are spag bol, pizza and lasagne. I fly the flag for bolognese because Bologna is the place where you can reliably eat well in Italy and usually in the company of locals rather than tourists. I share the fondness for slow cooked pork – a recipe apppears in my new e-book next month: Foodlovers’ Bologna – the insider’s guide to eating, drinking and shopping.
It is great to see Giada back on Food Network.
Hi,
Would you be interested in doing a preview for the upcoming Cake International – The Cake Decorating & Baking Show, ExCeL, London from the 27-29 April?
Would be great to hear from you.
Best wishes,
Beth
